INFORMATION FOR DEALERS GIVING A VEHICLE AS A GIFT

Dealers may not give vehicles as a gift to an individual, unless the dealer pays tax on the vehicle. If a dealership is donating a vehicle for a drawing or a raffle, the dealer must pay the sales tax on vehicle. For more information on sales tax and sales tax exemption, please contact the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.
